Open to all women who have a course handicap of 22.0 or less.
One optional practice round may be played on either Saturday or Sunday before the week of the tournament (after 1pm). Please call the Golf Shop one week prior to the tournament for a tee time. If you do not have a foursome, you will be paired with other tournament players. Greens fees are $80, and optional golf cart is $26 for the practice round.
There will be one, 18 hole qualifying round on Monday, June 22nd. Please use the Golf Genius link for pairings and tournament info. An email will also be sent to participants.
You should arrive at your assigned tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. You will be flighted for this event by using your most recent USGA index the Friday before the tournament begins. All ties for Championship Flight and Medalist will be decided by sudden-death playoff. In case of a tie, players in contention for either Championship Flight or Medalist must remain at the Club on Monday, and be available for a playoff or forfeit their position. Ties for other flights will be a match of scorecards according to USGA recommendations.
Field will be divided into flights of 8 players, with the number of flights determined by the number of players in the field. You will be flighted for the match play event using your qualifying round score within your handicap-ranking group. The only exception is either being a medalist or scoring in the lowest eight players of the field. If this happens, all flights will be adjusted. See below:

The lowest 48 indexes (Group A & B) will play from the Silver Tees (5562 Yards). The next lowest 24 indexes ( Group C) will play from the Green Tees (5042 Yards).
Complimentary for players on the day of competition. Range will open one hour before the first tee time.
In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect her play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used. A prohibited device shall include any device capable of calculating slope, wind speed, temperature, or any other playing conditions.
Players may walk or ride, caddies are permitted. Contestants may bring their own caddie. Only one golf cart per match will be permitted. Cart fees are $26 per round and are not included in the entry fee. If both you and your opponent are riding, you must share a cart. Push/Pull carts are permitted.
The Golf Shop will post all players scores for the Qualifying round as Competition scores. In addition, players are responsible for posting their match play scores into the GHIN system, and should post as a Competition score from the proper tees. If you would like assistance in having your scores posted, please let the Spring Lake staff know and they can assist you.

Trophies will be awarded to the Champion, Runner-up, and Consolation Winner in each flight. The overall low gross scorer for the Qualifying Round will earn Medalist Honors.
